thank you so so much to everyone who’s bought a ticket! but for those interested who haven’t bought one yet, now might be a good time to do that. i expect walk-in slots to be very limited.
for those who are wondering “what is resurrection?”, it is a mesmerizing, dreamlike trip thru 100 years of cinema, directed by visionary director Bi Gan. with nods to the surreal silent era, somber traditional tales, and action-packed golden-age hong kong cinema, it’s a comprehensive, awe-inspiring – yes, i have to say it – love letter to cinema.
